Amooti Binaisa (Chair)

Amooti, our wonderful chairwoman is a marketing and communications professional. She has worked for Nokia, Boots and Motorola. At Virgin Unite, the charitable arm of the Virgin Group, she was Africa Campaign Manager and was asked by McKinsey to advise on a University Building Project in Delta State, Nigeria. She is passionate about using populist methods as a catalyst for social and business transformation. Ugandan born and raised. She is also a trustee for Together TV (formerly the Community Channel) and Kensington & Chelsea FoodBank.
George Avory
Trustee
George has a forty year history in business affairs in TV and opera, ex head of Business affairs at ROH.
Valerie Smith
Trustee
Valerie is a media lawyer, former lawyer at PACT and currently head of legal at United Agents Talent Agency.
Shabnam Russo
Trustee
Shabnam Russo, finalist of the Jubilee Fortnums Platinum Pudding Competition lives in London with her husband and their two children. She also works part time at her husband’s skin care clinic and as a hobby caters parties for friends and family. Her cooking inspiration comes from her grandparents and her famous Jubilee pudding recipe is her Rose Falooda Cake.
John Logan

John Logan has a thirty year career in television, he is currently executive director of Filmbox International Limited and founder trustee of Turtle Foundation (UK), the UK arm of the worldwide Turtle Foundation. He has a Masters in Charity Administration from Cass Business School.
Lisa Logan
Trustee
Lisa is a trustee. She is also a media lawyer and opera composer (www.lisalogan.co.uk). In her 20s/early 30s she was a theatre and opera director, assisting directors such as David McVicar at Opera North and Marina Caldarone at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch. She is also on the advisory board of a well known national opera company and on the board of Tara Theatre.
David Peimer
Trustee
David Peimer is professor of theatre and creative writing at Edge Hill University, Lancashire, UK. He has worked for the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg), New York University (Global Division), and was a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University. He has won numerous prestigious awards for playwriting and directing. He has lived with MS for over 35 years and champions theatre and opera, especially for disabled artists and audiences.
